when I sleep it is hot. thank you fan.

Last night, I'll apologize we were a little under the weather, what with the 20 hour jet lag, and so I thought it best to update you all on this very warm city.
WE have spent the day in stinky clothes on Khosan road, amongst a bevy of North American's all wearing shirts that read "von dutch" or "Same Same" It had to be done though, because after washing our only shoes and clothes in the morning rain...and we do mean RAIN! we couldn't walk anywhere that wasn't ankle deep in sewage.
So our first purchase here besides some lovely Pad thai at the Tavee, was some 60 baht flip flops. Then we walked around and around and around until we had sweat every drop.
Animals seen so far...
..tailess cat....rabid dog...foot long gecko...turtle (for soup)...and swarming catfish...tuk tuk driver...

eagerly awaiting our bags which apparently have arrived and are on route to our local...our hopes have not been raised though, as no one seems to know how to find the tavi. We've met some real swell folks, and bound to take a boat ride tomorrow for chinatown, and the indian market...as per eleanors instruction.
