I enrolled in a class in mushroom identification.

Hey so I had this really cool time today.
I woke up with a really bad feeling from last night
Keith and I went to Swans to watch an aging Rock and Roll band sweat out some old Santana hits.
Well actually the intent was to catch an eyefull of MRlene at work... and then steal her away from her place of business...The plan went smoothly untill my second beer whereupon my head went all woozy like.
So this morning, with a fog rolling in off the ocean, and a fog clouding my brain I made a hangover hash breakfast. After a second cup of coffee, things started to clear up, enough to make plans for Goldstream 2005 part II : the chum holocaust.
What an educational seminar it all was.

For the record, I would like to anounce that I was introduced to a very shocking implement today. A young woman in my Studio foundation class submitted this as a self-portrait...

Needless to say it wasn't a "hands on" installation. What was she trying to say? hmmm I wonder. The critique was more or less an instruction in the application of "the DIVA cup"...followed by an unsettling account of an english artist who makes wedding dresses out of used tampons. cringe... well I'm told that nothing is shocking in the art community, I'm curious to push a button or two.
The closest I came was on monday evening when I submitted this little gem...

I guess my infatuation with one-legged runners gave one fellow student a ride to close to the "laugh at" side of the coin. These fucking PC art students give me the willies.
If your in school to jab at fellow students for pushing the bounds of your acceptable reason, perhaps it's time to rethink your ability to understand any new concept.

I'll just hang around with the diva's and play it cool.
